Whilst scanning the channels, I will ALWAYS stop whenever "Smokey and the Bandit" is on. I know, I know... but it remains one of the quintessential "guy" movies of all time. How can you NOT love a film that features Jerry Reed driving his big rig over a line of Harleys? That has Jackie Gleason's famous line "sum-b****" (changed to "scum-bum" for tv)? That has Burt Reynolds explaining why they should go on this cross-country beer run: "For the good old American spirt, for the glory, for the money, and for the fun. Mostly for the money." Ahhh... it's good stuff... It may be considered a "guy" movie, but I love it just the same! After seeing it I wanted a Trans Am really bad. I don't think I was quite old enough to drive yet so I had to wait a few years. I ended up getting a 1981 Camaro - what a sweet car!

I love the movie HEATHERS. Its awesome and definitely one of the best films of all time. Christian Slater, Shannon Doherty, Winona Ryder all at the begining of their historic careers. I must watch that DVD at least once a week www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEeQpejFbYA&feature=relatedI also love the movie Just Add Water. It relatively new but still a great film. Its one of those character study films where the main character has a moment of clarity and changes their life. This movie is no exception but takes it in another direction. Definitely one of the better films of the last few years. Seth Rogen is hilarious, i never saw it in the theater but I'm not sure if it was straight to DVD. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjVkdIE0gmo

Have you seen the a Dario Argento film. Suspira, Creepers, and especially Tenebre. Those are great horror and scary movies that have influenced all the great directors. Especially William Friedkin, Romero, Taratino, Craven. I think all these guys were influenced by Argento. I recently got DVD collection with all of his best films. It definitely includes all the ones I mentioned and like two or three more www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc_ZiWHFbnQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=R5wKppxpwK0

Have you seen that movie The Counterfeiters. Its up there with schindler's list in my opinion. Its gives an amazing depiction of what life was like in concentration camps. The unique part is the perspective of someone being used by the nazis for their own gain. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwr9nCurEEQI loved Starship Troopers when I was a kid. Its was definitely one of my favorite films and was very disappointed when they didn't continue the series. Especially because it was suppose to be a trilogy. While I wasn't a huge fan of the second film, Starship Troopers 3: Marauder looks good. To bad they couldn't get Neil Patrick Harris and Denise Richards back again. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_woGjV_q8fM

Redbelt is one of the best fighting films in the last five years. Actually Redbelt was the only good fight movie in the last five years. David Mammet was always good as writer and directing. Chiwetel Ejiofor was excellent and definitely kept you involved through out the whole film. There is the other film called Scorpion. Its a foreign film, so I'm not really sure who the actors are. On the other hand the fight scenes reminded me of Redbelt. Mostly because they were so realistic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFrHNaq-6qEwww.youtube.com/watch?v=iI0guJ7apcE
