i am a sucker for: the man who shot liberty valanceI've liked this one since I was a kid. Anybody out there who is scared to watch it because it's B&W is missing out. Great performances by Wayne and Stewart. john wayne always played a tough guy - in liberty valance, he WAS a tough guy. probably his third greatest role

Ah...it's funny how addicting that movie is. I loved it when it was first released and when it came out on video, I watched it over and over and over again. And then, I don't watch it for years, but what happens? HBO plays it, and I find myself addicted yet again!

For some reason, and maybe this belongs in the "bad movies" category, I will always stop and watch Ghost when it's on tv. I found that out this weekend while flipping channels... it was on VH-1, and I couldn't turn it off.
I'm not the chick-flick type at all, but this one somehow still entertains me. I guess there's enough non-sappy action and comedy in it to keep my interest.
...It also made me think of that SNL sketch with Patrick Swayze where they spoof it. Sam watches Molly do some really unflattering and disgusting stuff while she thinks she's alone. Pretty funny... ;D
Ditto. (Oh, how appropriate!) Although, I would even go so far as to add Black Sheep, Happy Gilmore , and Big Daddy to the list. What About Bob? is another one I can't resist.

What About Bob? is another one I can't resist.I would agree with all of the above, though I rarely see What About Bob? on TV. As for TV shows, I can never resist Seinfeld if it's on. And the older episodes of Home Improvement have a way of causing me to stop channel surfing.

Okay, so we're adding TV shows? Alrighty, then...
Even though I have virtually every episode memorized from such constant viewing, I will still watch M*A*S*H* any time it's on. (which, it usually is somewhere in the world).
Likewise, I can watch my Arrested Development and Scrubs DVDs over and over and never get tired of them.

If you were a fan of Twin Peaks, you should check out Veronica Mars. But watch the first season on DVD (in order, and don't go looking online for info about it, because you REALLY don't want to be spoiled for the first season) before you watch it on tv.
Arrested Development was a really funny show. I didn't watch regularly because I could never remember when it was on, but I really loved what I did get to see.

Oh... I LOVE Veronica Mars.... missed out on most of the second season though.
Veronica Mars & Lost are the two shows that I would be watching if my nights were free or I had Tivo or DVR, alas I do not. I have pre-ordered my second season of Veronica Mars. I'm tres excited.

I plan on getting second season when it comes out (not preordering though...I'll go to Best Buy or something). It had a good payoff, though I didn't feel the season as a whole was as strong as the first. Season three isn't going to have the season long mystery to solve though. There may be a few mysteries that last for more than one episode; I'm not sure how much I like that, but as long as the show continues to be as well written and acted as it has been so far, I don't think it will hurt it too much. And as long as Logan is still on, I'll be happy!
