ok on THIS subject, I know what I'm talking about.
harvey dent is always depicted as being white in the comics.
tim burton hired billy dee williams with the understanding that two-face would be the villain in the 3rd film, but burton did not make it that far and joel schumaker (spit on the ground) bought williams out (williams had a play or pay clause inserted in his contract for just this occurance) and cast tommy lee jones instead.

FieryMaid, according to Mr. C (my ultimate authority on all things comic-bookish), TigerJeb is right about the comics.
However, in addition to the Tim Burton movie, Harvey Dent was also black in the Batman animated series. So your friend could have been thinking of that too.

I am so much looking forward to this movie. I think Heath Ledger as the Joker is a good decision.

The new poster with the drawing of the Joker rocks! Now I can't wait to see the movie.

WooHOoooo the new trailer comes out tonight!! I get chill bumps every time I see anything for this movie. This movie better meet my expectations. I mean, I have actually lost count of how many times I have watched Batman Begins and can Dark Knight really top my favorite movie ever??

So this is the one that will finally bring me out of "hiding". quality isn't good of course but if you think that new trailer was cool then you really need to see the 6min bank heist the only showed with the IMAX release of Legend. youtube.com/watch?v=LQDcW53fn5w

I dare say this actually gave me goosebumps. It's a great intro to the Joker, and I have no doubt that Ledger is going to prove all the detractors wrong. Prepare to hear me say, "Nicholson who?" on more than one occasion. No question about it - this is my most anticipated film of 2008.

Iron Man is looking pretty badass too and I hope the new Hulk movie with Ed Norton doesn't turn out to be a big pile of crap like the Ang Lee version was.

SB, that Invader Zim? Haha!
I am definately looking forward to this movie. I'm thrilled about Katie Holmes' NONappearance, and excited about Ledger and have all confidence. The only thing I'm not too thrilled about or concerned about is the makeup. Why make it messed up like that? A coworker compared it to The Crow makeup. While I don't quite think that, I don't think I feel the way the makeup is being done is true to the Joker. Anyone else feel this way?
Not sure about Iron Man -- still sitting on the fence with that one. Looks promising but Hollywood doesn't have a great track record when it comes to comic hero movies.
I'm nervous about the new Hulk movie. Norton is the only reason I haven't completely written it off.

i have HUGE doubts about Iron Man. Tony Stark is not the most sympathetic characters in comic books. it will be hard to make him someone the audience will root for without totally bailing on the comic
i always thought joker should look like they have imaged him in the movie. he is totally insane. to be immaculately dressed and made up all the time is a bit wrong to me
