JB told me about this movie because he got a press kit or something for it. I looked at the trailer online and it looks very cute! I think it comes out the first week of June or something, last time I checked. Besides Star Wars and Batman, that's the only other movie I've been looking forward to or marking my calendar for.

I seen the preview and I am looking forward to this movie. I love the books so, I will probably love the movie as well.

who wrote the books? I didn't know there were books! those would be neat, I bet. Is it one book, or separate books with each girl's story?

I can't wait for this movie (poor Mr. Cali). Rory Gilmore & Joan of Arcadia together in a movie? Whaaaaa? It looks really cute...and I want to read the books too:) Who wrote them? Where can I get them (um, Hi Ms. Cali, let me introduce you to a little place called Barnes & Noble).

Check out my preview page: www.themoviemark.com/movieminutiae/preview_sisterhood.aspThere's a link to where you can read excerpts from the book, plus there's more info there. The author is Ann Brashares, I do believe.

Oh, and for some reason I like to keep referring to this movie as "Traveling Sisterhood of the Pants." Just thought I'd share. You're welcome.

Whew. Does this movie scream "check your Y chromosome at the door" or what?

Whew. Does this movie scream "check your Y chromosome at the door" or what? At the screening in Memphis they're running a promotion where if you bring in a pair of used jeans then you get some sort of Sisterhood bracelet (talk about incentive!). Well, rumor has it there's another promotion running in conjunction with this where ALL guys are forced to turn in *ahem* "something" before seeing the movie. Fortunately, the guys are given needles and thread to sew 'em back on afterwards.

MsAng, Ann Brashares wrote them. The frist book is the movie title. Then there is The Second Summerhood of the Sisterhood and Girls in Pants. All are available it's has been hard for people to find the frist one. I haven't seen the movie but, the books are wonderful. Sorry it took me so long to respond. Laronda
