I'm dragging Mr. Cali and a friend to see this tonight (and I'm typing this as I watch Sasha Cohen skate in the world championships). I'll write a review, but I warn you now, I LOVE these kinds of movies (Yes, I am a fan of both Princess Diaries movies and Ella Enchanted).

did you see it yet? Was it good? Are you doing a review? I wanted to see it but, like I did for PD2 and Ella Encahnted, I would've had to go by myself... so I didn't go this weekend. but I still want to see it.

I'll write a review, but I warn you now, I LOVE these kinds of movies (Yes, I am a fan of both Princess Diaries movies and Ella Enchanted). Why is it that whenever they show figure skaters on TV, it is always "The Grand Supreme International Championships of the Known Universe and All Other Dimensions, Both Real and Imagined" and they always feature the same five skaters? And, if they are constantly having these championship skating shows, why bother with the Olympics? See, these are the kinds of things that I wonder about. A pretty sad commentary on me, eh? ;D

I did see it, and it was BAAAAAD...but in the kind of way that is fun, because there was so much to make fun of (especially when you go with people whose minds tend to hover just inside the gutter...there were a couple parts that we found histerical that weren't meant to be all that funny).
The movie is full of overacting, bad dialogue, and a sappy plotline, but I really enjoyed it:)
I'm working on a review, and should get it sent to Johnny later today:)

I'm working on a review, and should get it sent to Johnny later today:) Her review is now up. She claims it was BAAAAAD, yet she still gives it three marks. Sounds like someone is having a hard time admitting how much she truly loved it! I bet she even cried during it, but you won't hear her admit to that

Heck, it ain't even no Mighty Ducks 2
But that's just me.

I will admit, I loved it:) But I was trying to be a little less biased in my review (It was pretty much a given that I would love the movie no matter how bad it was), so I had to take into account what Mr. Cali and our friend thought about it. My friend just thought it was bad, but Mr. Cali thought it was so bad it was great - he had a great time watching it:)

I haven't seen it yet but I might just drag my girl friends along and mock it just to be devious.
