Johnny had to know I'd pop out of hiding for this one.
Johnny - do you have a link to something about that shirt auction? Was it the bloody shirt? If so, the shirt has a HUGE significance to the storyline and stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised it sold for that much. But if it was just a regular shirt he wore... eh. whatever.
But to have the bloody blue shirt, especially if it came with the bloody shirt of Heath's - that would be hugely significant, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were bought to hang in a gay bar. Cause everyone would know what it was all about.
(BTW, BBM was on the front page of USA Today this morning. Cover story, but it said nothing of interest)

Johnny - do you have a link to something about that shirt auction? Was it the bloody shirt? It's supposedly a "checked shirt." I heard it on the radio, so I was going to look it up on the Internet and I saw the blurb on IMDb. Here's what it said: The shirt BAFTA-winner Jake Gyllenhaal wore portraying gay cowboy Jack Twist in Brokeback Mountain has sold for $101,100 on auction website eBay. The checked shirt went on sale earlier this month and sold late yesterday to a mystery fan, using the cyber name hlywdstar, after 165 bids were placed. The item's original bid was $9.99. The proceeds from the shirt sale will benefit Variety - The Children's Charity of Southern California. Brokeback Mountain won four BAFTA awards last Sunday, including Best Picture and Director.
