Don't doubt my credibility on Father of the Pride just because I am a West Wing fan, and Johnny is not. It has already been on for a couple of weeks, but look at some of these plots: Father Lion finds his daughter lion's catnip, had drug conversation. Siegfriend and Roy stage a protest on a new business because it is a nice old lady's bed and breakfast, presenting no neon signs, slot machines, or gimmicks, and seeing as how that would ruin Vegas' reputation, Siegfried sleeps with the old lady to change her mind on how things should be. And they had lesbian chinchillas (sp?) named Chimi and Chunga. I can't remember why they were brought into the plot, but the point was that they were random for the sake of randomness. S&R are fantastic in their own mocking of themselves.
Scrubs is the best show EVAH. But I've mentioned that a couple of times before.
Not that I want to bring this up, but... Martin sheen is 5’7” while the average male is 5’9” Technically, a midget is shorter than 4’10.” At that height a person can file for disability benefits in the US. Aaron Sorkin hasn't been working on the show for the past year either, BTW. On a *much* more important note, I haven't been watching the show for the past year.

I haven't seen West Wing in about a year and a half now (due to the fact that Angel was on at the same time and I had to get up for work at 3:30 am), but I plan to catch up this year. For a while, it was the best show on tv, but I think The O.C. has taken over that slot.
Other NBC shows I want to watch:
Joey - loved the first episode, missed the rest (seriously, do they have to put The O.C. on at the same time! This always happens with shows I like)
Scrubs - I actually make a point to watch this show...it's definitely the funniest comedy on these days.
Will and Grace - if there's nothing else on. I happen to like Karen and Jack, and Will...if only they would get rid of Grace. It's getting old and tired, but they still have some great lines that make it worth watching every once in a while.
Um...that's it really. I've hated ER for years, never could get into Third Watch, and I'm sooooooo tired of Law & Order (seriously, every episode is the same - body discovered, find the killer, get a conviction). Maybe when they come up with Law and Order: Baby Mystery Club (heh - I totally stole that from the Cartoon Network) I'll watch.

Hmm, now that you mention those storylines I think I'll have to give Father of the Pride a shot. I was scared it was gonna be a little too child-oriented, but it looks like they're NOT going that direction.
I'll also try harder to watch Scrubs this season. I LOVED the episode where Sarah Chalke just got a new car and somebody drove by and completely side-swiped it or something. Remember that? My thoughts are hazy.
And in regard to Sheen, if I ever met him then I'd like to condescendingly pat him on the head, but I'd hate to have to stoop down that low ;D

oh yeah, Father of the Pride is definitely *not* a child-oriented show. Come to think of it, in the first episode Roy got molested by a monkey, and had a line of animals attracted to him... they showed some of that in the previews. It's funny stuff. And Scrubs comes on immediatly afterwards, so it really is the best hour on TV EVAH.
Oh, and for that Medical Investigation show, I have a friend in med school (ok, so she's not really a friend, but a person with who I communicate regularly through out live journals. oh wait, we communicate solely online? That does make us friends right?) who says she can't watch it because they are making up *so* much of the medical stuff.

so it really is the best hour on TV EVAH. Um, perhaps you're forgetting of a little show I like to refer to as THE YOUNG RIDERS! Traitor.

OK, you caught me. I have never really seen that show. I stumbled upon the websites, and realized that *such* cool people followed that show, that I have been pretending all these years that I am a fan.
But now I have been exposed. Can you tell me what all that commotion is about?
Besides, who would watch a show every week that gives Josh Brolin so much air time?

Johnny, we all know that Young Riders doesn't count when we mention something is the best evah - it's automatically always the best evah (or ever, depending on how you want to say it). So anything else automatically qualifies as second best, but it's just so confusing to have to say that every time...
Yeah...
And I hear this year on West Wing, they will be setting up the new administration, since this is the last year of Bartlett's second term. So I figure some people (Martin Sheen) will be going, and some will be staying.
What I would like to see:
President: Leo VP: Josh Press Secretary: C.J. Senior Speechwriter: Will (traitor, going to work for the VP) Josh's job now (what's that, senior policy director or something): Donna Other person working there: Amy ('cause I love Mary-Louise Parker! She's awesome)
Person I most want to see go: Toby
I'm interested in watching just to see that happen! So it had better happen!!!

Besides, who would watch a show every week that gives Josh Brolin so much air time? Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a [wainch]?

Wayne Brady would NEVER choke somebody who kissed him! Looks like Rhiannon has a story to tell. For some reason, this sounds familiar. I seem to recall y'all going to a taping of the Wayne Brady show?

We went to a taping of The Wayne Brady Show (the pilot actually), and he did a question and answer session, and another friend who was supposed to come with us didn't get to, but had jokingly told me to tell him that she loves him and Rhi to give him a kiss for her...so we did! She kissed him on the cheek, right in front of his wife! LLOL:) What else is a question and answer session for, right?

Yes Johnny, this is why I was so confused about the Wayne Brady reference. I thought you were eluding to my kiss... but it all makes sense now (to me at least. Ms. Cali is probably still in the dark...)
and I'm just a little bitter because eventually WB showed a girl in the audience that asked to hug him in the Q&A part, but he never showed my kiss. Discrimination I tell ya!!! (or perhaps it was that I still had visible scars from my tijuana experience the night before...)
