Kind off missed this topic...
pretty much oldie's for me to, because i spend 5 years playing Everquest, and then about a year on Wow
So Favo's :
- The old Sierra line of adventure games from back in the end-80's begin-90's like Leisure Suit Larry, Police Quest, Space Quest ...
- Another World (1991) for PC. really innovating gfx in it's time
- 4D Stunt Driving/Stunts (there's a recent remake of this, still gotta check it out)
- Dune 2 (oh yeah, maaaany hours)
- Quake 2

You're probably out of luck on the last boss of the third game. If you don't have enough ammo the boss is unbeatable because you can't dodge some of the attacks. I did the same thing, reloaded a save point earlier in the level and made sure to save all of my ammo - I still couldn't beat the final boss. I let Johnny Betts borrow my PS2 and after he beat it I loaded up his save just before the final boss and finished the game. Terrible design IMHO.

It's been a while since I posted my list so I have a few games to add. - Resident Evil 4 - Great gameplay and pretty scary in the beginning. Good length (~20 hours). The only drawbacks were the story and lack of puzzles.
- Ninja Gaiden Black - I almost missed this game because I didn't care for the demo. I'm glad I didn't - this is definitely the best 3rd person action game out. Great graphics and an awesome combat system. The story was lacking though. (~20 hours)
- Gears of War - The king of graphics until Crysis comes out on PC later this year. Great cover system and fun, if very limited, online play. Not much of a story.(~10 hours)
- Jade Empire - Nice action/rpg blend. Very good story and some humorous moments. The amount of moves is limited so the combat gets repetitive fairly quickly but is still fun. (~20 hours)
- Condemned - One of the few games that comes close to the scariness of Silent Hill. The first person aspect really helps this out. The department store level is very memorable. The story starts out strong and then goes to crap.(~12 hours)

You guys are thinking too recent: 1) Super Mario Brothers 2) Castlevania 3) Doom 4) Final Fantasty VII 5) Half-Life Good recent games are simply better than the old ones. Playing Resident Evil 4 is just much more fun than trying to sit down and play Super Mario these days.

I totally disagree, JB. I am SO old school. Not really into the recent 3D games (with the gallons of blood et all) but there is a few
Old School Nintendo 1. Super Mario Brothers 2 2. Dragon Warrior 3. Star Tropics 4. Zelda
Sega 1. Lion King
Semi Recent Games: PlayStation 1. Final Fantasy Game Tatics 2. Wolverine Weapon X
Computer Games: 1. Myst 2. Solitare (hey, it's a classic)
Haven't really had time to play games in OH so long......

Mortal Kombat Digger Styx
I haven't played a computer game since I was 12. I know I'd get hopelessly addicted and never stop.

I loved Digger! We weren't able to play it anymore once the old computer died because the new computer sped it up too much (one of the BAD things of faster processors) I just bought a Nintendo DS and I am LOVING the vamped up old school games! Castlevania!
