I'm currently playing Riddick. Great graphics, good story and clunky controls. I'm about a third of the way into the game and its very good. I'm normally a first person fanatic, but I think this game would have been better in third person. The fighting is pretty hard and I have had better luck mashing buttons than using strategy. The voice acting is superb, obviously because they used all of the original people to do the voice work. Go Diesel!
I'm also playing Spider-man 2. This one is not so great. I've only played about an hour, but the two button combat is really repetitive. Hopefully the story picks it up a notch and maybe the boss fights are better.
I finished Thief: Deadly Shadows a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic game. If you liked the other two Thief games or if you like stealth games you should definitely pick this one up (its worth it since its around 20 hours). If you're not sure about it you should at least give this one a rental. So far its a strong Game of the Year contender for me.

I'm currently not playing anything, and usually I don't play anything (except for Indiana Jones but it's been a long, long time). However, I look forward to watching JB play Silent Hill IV. I get all the enjoyment of the game without the stress of actually having to play myself. booya.

I haven't played a VG in years. But I'm not anti-VGs. I just have no time and no x-box. oh well, i'm a deprived child.

No X-Box - that's terrible! And who doesn't have time for video games? I'm very fortunate that my wife loves watching me play video games or I probably wouldn't have time either. Silent Hill 4 should rock with surround sound!

Who doesn't have time? I'll tell you who doesn't have time. I don't have time. B'sides if I had an x-box, it'd just sit there during the week gathering dust.

What's Ground Control II?
I played a few minutes of Doom 3 - seems pretty cool. I plan on playing it on the XBox.

Doom 3 is very... VERY atmospheric. Some say it's just a display of fancy graphics, but hey, them graphics keep me on edge. When you go play it, play it alone, inside... curtains closed, bottle of cola near... sound turned up to the setting 'neighbours start complaining'.. and get ready to be scared. My heartrate always raises a couple of bpm when I start it up. It does need a decent system though, although I don't know how it's gonna be on XBOX or other consoles. The Artificial Intelligence of the monsters and all isn't great, but they keep suprising you when they arrive. It's dark and atmospheric, and since it gets me on edge, I think they succeeded in what they wanted to create. Ground Control II is only the sequel to one of the ground breaking RTS games of a couple of years back. Real Time Strategy isn't too hot for consoles though (I think). Look up Ground Control II a bit and you'll find plenty of reviews. I really like the game and the story behind the game isn't too bad either. A function I find rather cool is that you can 'merge' different units together to get more powerfull units with different weapons... you can 'unmerge' these units at will too, thus creating a rather balanced army.
