I've mentioned this before, but I'm sure no one believes me, but I'm working on a bit of a redesign for the page. Once I get it rolled out, I want to finally add the long-awaited Movie Mark merchandise store - complete with t-shirts, etc.
Another idea I had was to take inventory of all my press kits and posters, create an online store, and put them up for sale. Perhaps there's someone out there who'd like to buy a Secret Window poster just because it has a huge picture of Johnny Depp's face.
Good idea? Bad? Pointless? Waste of time?

An online store full of press kits on a website full of movie freaks sounds like a plan Hannibal could have thought of *puts a cigar between his teeth*
And to be Frank and Honest (you be Johnny) I'm not sure the current TMM banner would really stand out on merchandise, but as you said; you're redesigning... so I'll just shut up now ...

JB, here's what you need to do: Take all the various swag that has recognizable faces of celebrities, and "Movie Mark" 'em. And by that, I mean, "put some sort of personalized JB touch on them"--that celebrities' link to Josh Brolin; a "Johnny Betts Approved" stamp on pictures of Kate Beckinsale...that sort of thing. And THEN you sell them to the highest bidder. And I want a Movie Mark T-Shirt, like, yesterday. I'm just saying. Something's gotta fill the void since my ZZ Top "Eliminator" shirt from 1983 got lost...

Just make sure that the shirts are long enough to cover my jeans in the back... lol... or... you could go the other way and sell some women's thongs that have the small triangle of fabric and put the moviemark logo on that.
Think of all the Asvertisements you'd get.

LOL tanget !! Ok ok .. in that sort off line, i propose pants with on each leg an arrow pointing down, with the words "size 11 biker boots" and a additional t-shirt with an arrow in the middle, pointing down, with the words "size 11 biker $!#@ !" Or a T-shirt, on the back : "Natural Airco" & on the front a small logo (intel perhaps) : "coolness inside" a cap that reads : "my drinking club has a movie problem"

How about a shirt that says: "Chuck Norris never met Johnny Betts."

1) Laslo, so you're saying to literally put something even on the posters? A stamp of just a biker boot would be pretty cool.
2) I like the idea of the Chuck Norris shirt. Of course, I'd have different options for t-shirts. You could pick out the quote you wanted, "Chuck Norris never met Johnny Betts," "This is my opinion; you could be wrong," "I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man," etc.
I'll take a picture tonight of TMM shirt that I have, and I'll get your feedback on its specific design. It's mainly the logo on the back with "themoviemark.com" on the front near the heart.
3) TMM Thong - TG, sure, why not? FM has already indicated SHE won't be getting it, but I know one or two others who would (I could throw in Trantee's name here as a joke, but I'll refrain).

(Forgive me for just whipping this up in photoshop without asking permission ahead of time.) Very cool. I really like this, and I think it's a good logo for a shirt. You know what, it might also be a good replacement for my current "marks" rating system. I could scale the image down and give rankings based on the biker boot. That'd look cooler than some red Target symbols. Thoughts?

Thoughts ? First, cool idea, and give Laslo much kudos Second, It realy scares me how much the inside-heel-boot-stamp design looks like Optimus Prime :s O.O

1- I have no cause to ever wear a TMM thong... I was mainly joking as there was some post discussion about women showing their thongs and their "tramp stamps" (as my dad's wife calls the back tattoo--- I don't mind those, but don't think they're appropriate in most work environments. If it's not part of the uniform--- Cover it up!) 2- I'd be more likely to get a TMM tattoo than wear a TMM thong or underwear. (boy cut shorts are cute though, if I were to wear such under garments) 3- Lazlo's design is the winner... HANDS DOWN!!! 4- I like the idea of replacing the targets w/ the boot shapes. 5- I like the various quotes that J.B. threw around: It is J.B.'s wit (and that of the regular Movie mark audience) that has kept me around ; and which has made him a contender for being one of my pretend boyfriends. I am a great pretend girlfriend, btw. Mainly as if a pic shows up (insert Trantee lurking w/ a camera) of one of my pretend boyfriends and a really hot chic (like Kate Beckinsale) I don't get upset at all. In fact, just makes my pretend boyfriend all the more attractive. I think I may need some pretend therapy. Hmm? ANYWAY... I'm just sayin'... I want a shirt. Sign me up. (for the shirt... and possibly the therapy )
