JB, I'd be willing to donate a few bucks towards a Fark.com text ad for The Movie Mark - if there's a few other folks willing to do the same you might have something... (Fark.com still seems like best value+cheapest, unless you've found something else)

Also another site motto - and I am aware of the various meanings (which makes it more clever, imho..), how about:

'The Movie Mark - I'd hit it!'

Why should I pay ten bucks to see a film when I can watch high quality, well written, free-to-air tv programs that are far better than anything you've released in years? Answer *that*, current filmmakers.

Haha, it's a good idea. Anybody else willing to throw in a couple of books for this promotion? Not that you have to, but hey, if you're willing...

Also, are there any artists out there who'd be interested in designing a cool logo for The Movie Mark? I'm going to be allowed to put my logo on passes for screenings I sponsor in the future, and I'd like a nice logo. Right now I'm basically using "The Movie Mark" in letters as they appear on the marquee with ".com" attached. Any ideas? Any potential helpers?

I also want to go ahead and open up the Cafe Press page that we discussed months ago. It's time to start selling Movie Mark merchandise. Well, it's past time, but you know how it goes. People have told me they'd wear Movie Mark shirts to screenings and movies and such, and what better way of getting a little publicity going? Let's do this!

I know we have some talented people here, so let's get some ideas and artwork flowing.

why not just take your target logo (somehow making it look not like the "Target" logo, perhaps with a black outline between the red and while colors) and put TheMovieMark.com over it - who said it has to be anything fancy?

I just need to get some sort of MM paraphanalia...
