It is pretty good. I know some people complained because it played outside of its era at times, but I didn't mind. Must everything be a cookie-cutter production?

It rocked. One of my favorites.
I agree with you there. Why, if we make a historical film, must it be historically accurate?

Ah...plus, Heath Ledger is at his hottest in that movie (I just loved the posters for it!).
No, really, that's a great movie. The first gift Mr. Cali bought me after we started dating was the soundtrack.
Now I must go home and watch it again:)

I loved Heath Ledger in that, hated the girl. Won't even take the time to look up her name. Hated her even more in the movie with Josh Hartnett. The anachronisms annoyed me, though. I'm a historical purist; but I still liked the movie overall. I LOVE Paul Bettany as Chaucer, he had to be my favorite of the whole movie. Skinny, but so cute!

Paul Bettany was amazing. Actually, I liked the whole ensemble... esp. Alan Tudyk & the dude from the Full Monty.
For, although the poster w/ Heath is nice to be sure... He is NOT the hottest guy in that movie. The hottest guy would be the guy who played Prince Edward (the Black Prince of Wales). He was absoultely delicious. My sister says that he's on ROME??? on HBO. I don't have HBO, so I've never seen this show, but my sister loves it.
Anyhoo... I love A Knight's Tale. It's one of those movies that I can watch again & again. I take great exception to this comment, however!!!

You know who else is hot in that movie? Rufus Sewell (the bad guy). Seriously, all the guys in that movie were really good. It's one I never get tired of looking at...um, watching.

He was absoultely delicious. you are speaking of James Purefoy. He was Rawdon Crawley in the new version of Vanity Fair, with Reese Witherspoon. On the DVD comments of VF, the people in that movie wanted to start a campaign to make him the next James bond, as they had given him the nickname "James Puresex". If you like him in Knights Tale, he has MUCH more screen time in Vanity Fair.
