Silent WarningsI got this off of IMDb: After the accidental death of his cousin Joe Vossimer (Stephen Baldwin), the just-graduated electronic engineer Layne Vossimer (A.J. Buckley) joins his girlfriend and four friends of them to visit and clean the inherited farm in the country. The local Sheriff Bill Willingham (Billy Zane) is an old friend of Layne, and also grieves the death of Joe. When the group arrives in the farm, some weird and mysterious signs appear in the cornfield, but they believe the other locals are joking with them. When Iris Doyle (Kim Onasch) vanishes, the rest of the group realizes that there is a serious menace jeopardizing that place. Its a SciFi original, which everyone knows what that means... cinematic gold. For some reason, every time it comes on, I can't help but watch it. Here's a link to the SciFi channel movie page. (Be sure to read what they say about Billy Zane's character!) www.scifi.com/silentwarnings/

Good ol' Silent Warnings, AKA low-budget ripoff of Signs. I remember when it came out I was making fun of their description of Billy Zane's "fresh and utterly non-clichéd depiction of a small-town sheriff." Having seen the movie, I can confirm that it's a fairly stale and utterly clichéd depiction of a small-town sheriff. And who in the world would use the term "vertiginous fluidity" to describe this film? Sheesh. "How was the movie?" "Well, the acting was bad, and the story was unoriginal, but I loved the vertiginous fluidity of the camera work!" "Cool, I'll check it out!" If you're watching it for Stephen Baldwin, then I must admit that his role's pretty entertaining, but he's only in it for about 10 minutes at the beginning. There's also a memorable scene with Michelle Borth, but that just might be me.

Troll 2 is probably THE bad movie that I've rewatched the most and will watch multiple times in the future. It's the benchmark for bad movies that I show friends and family to say, "Now THIS is what a really bad movie looks like."
All of you need to see it. You simply cannot call any movie "the worst movie of all time" unless you have Troll 2 to compare it to.

I don't know... Hobgoblins was on late the other night (the non MST version), and I watched the whole thing. And it's not the first time that's happened...

I'm trying to think of a bad movie that I like, but in truth, all of my favorites are masterpieces - at least in my own mind...
Hmmm... Does Overboard count? I watch that one every time it's on. In fact, I'd seriously consider calling in sick to work if it came on at 7am tomorrow morning...
Just kidding. ...I own it.

Speaking of MST3K movies that you watch...you can buy Squirm at Suncoast Motion Picture Company in it's non-MST3K form. I've seriously considered it. Sigh...

I am partial to Troll (the original... never saw Troll 2, sorry Johnny) and Beast Master!!! Marc Singer has left a legacy he can be proud of.
(MsCali- I once again apologize for my awful grammar and my trademark dangling participles.)
Some of my family and friends can't understand my obsession with Flash Gordon (The 1980 Sam Jones version, that is). I am a big fan of cheese and it's super cheesy. I also am a big fan of Queen and any movie for which they contribute to the soundtrack. (See also, Highlander).
