I will have to say the special effects in Bladerunner must have been cutting edge when it came out. They still look better than any Sci-Fi channel original movies.
I guess the movie is just not for me. I was especially disappointed since Harrison Ford was in it, Christopher Nolan used it as a guide for Batman Begins and Stephanie hyped it up.

Ah, I LOVE Moulin Rouge. Still. After seeing it at least 300 times. In fact, I was just thinking on my way to work today that I need to watch it again (I'm pretty sure that thought was prompted by the fact that I've been listening to the soundtrack nonstop for the past two weeks or so). Yeah, Ewan's version of "Your Song" is so much better! Heh...I had forgotten about that Rhi:) I was SO sheltered from non-Christian music as a child:) So, yeah, I don't think it's overrated at all...I think it's just the type of movie that some people like and some don't. I happen to love all of Baz Lerhman's movies (Strictly Ballroom is one of the most underrated movies ever in my opinion), and his opera La Boehm (sp?) was amazing too. Oh, and if Ewan is in it, and it's not Star Wars, it's pretty much guaranteed I'll love it:) Has anyone seen "The Long Way Around" on Bravo yet? It's Ewan and a friend riding their motorcycles from England or Scotland or somewhere (I missed the first episode) to New York across Asia. It's actually really interesting! Mmmmmm. Ewan is my favorite!!
