Flash Gordon. soundtrack by Queen.
I like Queen as a rule, but my GOSH, what were they thinking? I don't know if it could have been worse if it HAD starred Michael Pare. Especially the last "attempt at action" sequence where Flash is fighting on this rotating platform thing like something out of American Gladiator. *shudders*

Be happy that Queen wasn't in the movie. Has anybody seen KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park? Ouch. What's really sad is that Anthony Zerbe is in it, but at least that was pre-Young Riders.

The House that Screamed. This movie honestly has NO plot whatsoever. The effects are worse than the plot. Sad thing is, I've seen it 3 times just because it is so funny to laugh at.
Also I saw Pumpkin Head 2 on USA and what I saw was a crime against humanity.

Hey Shade, we've got another movie to rent now.

Welp, Shade and I watched the trailer for The House That Screamed and it's officially on our "bad movies to see" list. Thanks TaMara!

Not only that, but we found out that there is a sequel and a whole slew of films by the director and his entire family.

Robot Jox It was absolutely horrible. My husband rented it a few years back and AACK! Or should I say HACK! If you want real state of the art bad acting, effects and a scene with a naked Anne-Marie Johnson (Virgil's wife from In the Heat of the Night) then this is the show for you! What really gets me...it's been released on DVD!(In Europe). And we can't even get The Young Riders released on DVD yet. Man, that burns!

No way a sequel!?!? And they actually made OTHER movies too? Who gives these people money to make movies? They should be using that money to help cure cancer or something. Those silly Canadians.

I thought I was the only person who had repressed memories of the KISS epic in my subconcious. *raises fist in a show of solidarity* Hang in there, brother... we'll get through this together!

I have two more to add! Dead Birds and Alien Lockdown. It got so bad during Alien Lockdown that 2 people died twice because when they actually died I could have sworn that they had died earlier in the movie. They added up to three hours of my life this weekend that I will sadly never get back. I wish there was some kind of time machine that I could use everytime I see a bad movie.

I've just gotta ask - how did you come to watch these two movies in one weekend? Did you have friends who forced them upon you? I've taped Mansquito and will be watching it soon. BOOYA!

No one forced me to watch and I was not under the influence of anything. I live in an extremely small town (just think of the smallest town you know and then think smaller) and we have only one video store. My mom rented them and she took Alien Lockdown and I took Dead Birds. After I watched it I thought that "Well nothing could be as bad as that." Boy was I wrong. When she brought Alien Lockdown by and told me it was good! Now I have to wonder about her sanity.

Sweet Jesus...End Of Days was terrible.
And I recently saw a screening of "Son of Blob" which is a little known sequel, which is- get this: Written and Directed by Larry Hagman. It seems that post Jeannie, and Pre-Dallas, the Hag-man wanted to bring his career behind the camera. There really was nothing redeemable about this film.
But what I really want to know is, has anybody seen "Abar, the First Black Superman"? That movie is so bad, it's good!
