November 12, 2004. I went opening night to see Seed of Chucky. I'm a very big Chucky fanboy (Don't worry, Johnny. Your review didn't tick me off that much.) and have been eagerly anticipating this as much as I am awaiting an adaptation of Stephen King's Gerald's Game starring Jessica Alba. Getting back to the story, from the beginning of the first preview, there was a girl behind me yapping on her cell phone. That is a sin punishable by death to me. (Did you see that episode of CSI where the guy gets stabbed in the back of the head with a screwdriver while sitting in the middle of a movie theatre? That's what I want to do to those people.) I turned around and politely asked her if she could turn off the phone so I could hear. Her meathead jock boyfriend said that I should leave his girlfriend alone or else. (I guess at this time, I should mention that I was at the theatre in the hometown of my high school's rival team and our team had just whipped their ass in the big game the week before. 43-12! Well, I was wearing my red and white Panther Pride! t-shirt. Not a good idea in hindsight.) The whole movie, he kept talking about how he was gonna kick the crap out of me after the movie ended. Needless to say, moved to the front and waited till everybody was gone and the ending credits have rolled until I made my exit. I reported the guy to the theatre manager, but he was even less sympathetic. The next time I went to that theatre was for Final Destination 3, where I sat safely in the back of an empty theatre. Needless to say that I was scared out of my mind the whole time and it had nothing to do with the movie.

The whole movie, he kept talking about how he was gonna kick the crap out of me after the movie ended. This is forgivable, not everyone posses the titan like strength Johnny and I posses.

Well, I don't possess the titan like strength or the size 11 biker boots.
Oh, and Johnny, I would never wish death and Hell and cancer on you. Where else am I supossed to go for truthful movie reviews?

Where else am I supossed to go for truthful movie reviews? There is no other place, my friend. You have learned quickly. Huey N - have you gotten a pair of size 11 biker boots yet? You'd be surprised at how much more they elevate the titan strength.

I have a couple of new favorites in the scary movie category. "The Devil's Chair" is a great scary movie that has the best concepts. Its one of those films thats as much psychological as it is visually scary. I can't even begin to explain the head trip I got watching this. "Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer" is new favorite for the exact opposite reason I liked The Devil's Chair". While Devil's Chair was psychologically unnerving, Jack Brooks:Monster Slayer is and over the top horror film. This film literally brings me back to the scary films of the 70's and 80's. From the story line to the Visual effects, these films are more shockers than scary. This film was just as much an action movie as it was a scary movie. PLUS it has Robert Englund. Lastly I picked up my first Blu-Ray Discs. Of course I had to buy the "Ray Harryhausen Collection". These are classics and the first scary movies my dad let me watch. 7th Voyage of Sinbad is an all time classic that I believe every body should have the pleasure of seeing at least once. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCGbTeb4USkwww.youtube.com/watch?v=ejwdhipRQJUwww.youtube.com/watch?v=1d_ptfvoZWk

had a bad one the other night when i took the boys to see bolt while my wife saw twilight
they like to sit in the top row, so while we are perched up there waiting for the show to start, 2 young gals aged around 14-15 sit down about 5 seats down our row.
did i mention we were there to see a kids movie? bolt. in a theater full of kids. ok
the 2 young gals begin a makeout session worthy of friday night skinemax. of course, a mom just below broke up the proceedings after a couple of minutes and the girls took off out of the room, but there was a lot of damage control left to do in the room after they left.
yeesh.
