Last night, one of our TV networks played "Demolition Man" (1993 - starring Snipes and Stallone) . A movie where, in 1996, they cryogenically froze criminals to sit/sleep out there sentence ... ... yeah .. that happened Anyway, L.A. 2032 - Stallone plays the cop (who was frozen too) and they get'm back to hunt the escaped Snipes. When Stallone wakes up, the first thing he asks is about his wife and kid. They were killed during a global earthquake in 2010. "I'm sorry, she died". He's obviously hurt (a bit). Stuff happens and not more then 1 day passes. At the end of the day, Stallone and S.Bullock (his partner) go back to her place. She's all hot from the action and asks him to have sex with him (little did he know she meant Virtual Sex *sigh*). The guy says "here ? now ? hell yeah! *smile* " Excuse me .. you have known for about 10 hours that your wife died !!! Hell of a way to mourn about it O.รต Back in the day when i first saw the movie at the theaters, as a wee boy, i never though about it .. or thought about the work the writers put into a movie to craft the characters (or the lack there-off).. This shows me how much has change in movies, these days... and the way we think about it (or think it through). Just wanted to share my thought
