Well if you liked the first one.....
I saw this because I was PAID. I didn't care for the first one, but this one was even worse for me to sit. It does have good messages for kids though, and the kids will like it which is the target audience.

I took my niece to see the first one. She kept laughing so loud that I was guiltily looking around. She was so darn cute though!
She came up to me shortly after Thanksgiving, crawled into my lap, smiled at me and told me that she was excited for us to see Chickmunk 2 the Squeakwel.
I might have groaned, but yet again... I looked into her face and saw it light up --- plus I love how she says chipmunk wrong, like when she used to say pasghetti instead of spaghetti.
I have yet to see this movie as I'm up in Michigan, but my niece informed me just yesterday that she's waiting to see it with me. Translation--- no way is my sister gonna sit through, let alone pay to see, this movie and therefore has told my niece how I would be sad if I didn't get to see it with her.
What can you do? I doubt that I'll enjoy the movie-in and of itself, but if she likes it as much as she did the last one, then the movie going experience should be a good one.

I finally paid up. I still can't believe that at 3:30pm I had to pay $22.50 for 1 student and 2 child tickets. Both girls liked it. I survived it. It wasn't as bad as I feared, but in no way, shape, or form is it worth the admission prices. (Plus I got a popcorn and soda for the girls to split so tack on another $8) Oh, and the candy we bought at the gas station and snuck in because concession stand prices are CRAZY for what you get. Am I a good aunt for taking them? I don't know about that. The youngest one asked if we could go see it again... to which I responded. NO. (I'm definitely NOT that good!!)
