I always love to see the different takes on this classic, and this one did not disappoint.
Expertly done. Thrilling effects never before seen, superb voice cast, faithful yet unique telling; I am truly wowed. I'd be a little careful with the little ones, some of the ghosty stuff is a bit scary, so know your kids.

Hmm... my sister liked it. The 11-year-old and I thought it was just okay/fair. (We didn't see the 3D version). I think I might have dozed off sometime during the Ghost of Christmas Present's performance. The 6 year-old ended up in mom's lap even before the Ghost of Christmas Future. (I wished I had dozed off for that part. It was a bit tedious.) It held her attention for most of the movie. This one could definitely be scary for little ones. The animation was pretty cool, though. My favorite part of the movie was when someone's phone must have gone off --- they had it on vibrate I guess because didn't hear it --- but then proceeded to answer the phone and have an outside-voice conversation with the caller. Seriously... they didn't even attempt to whisper. You know they are talking loud when you can hear every word the person is saying and the person is sitting about 15 rows in front of you and everyone is facing forward. How loud does one have to be to have your voice carry backward? Anyhoo... if you are a fan of this particular story, then I guess the chances are good that you will enjoy this movie on some level.
