If you could spend the day/ afternoon with anyone in the entertainment industry, who would it be and what would you do? (Or any famous person, really.)
For instance, JB might want to hang out with the other JB.
Okay... so this isn't an original question by any stretch of the imagination and I'll probably end up just talking to myself as the boards have been slow these days... smile.
(perhaps FM and Shane will take pity on me/ get bored and add their 4 cents. If all the other folks, who have disappeared w/ JB, put in their 2 cents, too... well, we... would have about 16 cents)
There's the whole, what three people (dead or living) would you like to go to dinner with, etc... And then there are some other crude variations on the theme involving celebs and who'd you date, marry, etc.. People sicken me sometimes. Anyway...
At this moment in time, my choice of who I'd like to hang out with is Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood). Not for long. I wouldn't want to take up too much of his time and bore him to death.
**(Again, as stated on the True Blood thread... I swear this is not motivated by the fact that he has been named Sexiest Man Alive --- in Sweden. Besides, I'm not even into blondes.
) Plus... those crazy Europeans, what do they know? The French adore Jerry Lewis movies and The Hoff has sold tons of records in what? Belgium? or Germany or something? ;D Okay... so I'm not saying he's not attractive and that the country of Sweden is wrong, but that's not the point.)**
Lucky for him, he gets to escape being my "pretend boyfriend"--- but he's not off the hook completely... he has to spend the day (or part of it) with me. What would we be doing? Well... unless he plans on showing me around Sweden which would be awesome... then just some casual conversation and (fingers crossed) a hockey game or something. Folks in Sweden play hockey, don't they? I know nothing about the Scandanavian Countries. Or... football? (as in soccer... that's popular everywhere but in the U.S.)--- that might be distracting though... soccer legs... yum.
Anyway... I've been to exactly one professional hockey game and went with a die hard hockey fan who was able to explain the game to me. It was awesome. I love live sporting events.
So... Who would you spend the afternoon with (celeb./ political person/ historical figure/ etc...) and what questions would you ask him/her... or what would you most like to do with that person?
Sure... I could have went w/ Nelson Mandela or Obama or someone like that... but I would be too nervous and not be able to speak. Me --- I'll stick with the Neil Gaimans, Paula Deans, and Alexander Skarsgards of the world. smile.
