The next time you see one of those teenage/early 20s lemmings wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt, I highly recommend you approach them and attempt to engage them in an intellectual conversation regarding the truth about the Marxist butcher.
I'm telling you, it's humor that pretty much takes care of itself.

I see kids like that all the time, driving their XTerras and Jeeps that their fathers paid for, who have no clue as to the irony of it all. The only problem with your suggestion is the premise that such individuals would be capable of "intelligent conversation."
Most of the time they have no idea who Guevara was or what Marxism is anyway.
Still, one of the privileges of youth is absolute and unbridled stupidity.

Sorry to bring up something old but I think I can pump some life into it.......I have to say that yes paying 20 to 60 dollars for a shirt with Che Guevara is a bit ironic but,Che is a poster child (Fidel Castro,Hugo Chavez and Nelson Mandela wouldn't sell very well) or not of socialism but of of any form of rebellion, and for some reason people who think they are rebelling but are only cussing out their parents.
P.S Or you could ask them how to maintain a socialist countries economy without oppressing the people into another rebellion

Most young people are COMPLETELY ignorant of history or -- they believe a false version of it (like the morons who say the Holocaust never happened?). It's sad.......... Socialism in a perfect world wouldn't be so bad.....but this isn't a perfect world and never will be. There will always be selfishness and so in a Socialist government you will always have a few filthy rich people starving and freezing everyone else out. At least with Capitalism, basically everyone has a chance to get filthy rich.
