I have a choice to make, folks. I have the option of seeing either Bolt in 3-D or Transporter 3 on Thursday. Any suggestions?
I know what to expect in Transporter 3, and though it may be dumb, I think I'd have plenty of fun just watching mindless action and Jason Statham kicking massive amounts of buttock.
That'd naturally be my choice. However, I'm seeing a lot of positive feedback regarding Bolt and it has piqued my curiosity.

hmm... a tough one. My plan was to take my niece to see this while my sister and other niece (maybe) or husband are seeing Twilight.
I'm telling you that the previews (esp. the hamster/gerbil thingie) had me cracking up. And 3-D movies have gotten better these days. Remember Jaws 3D, shutter to think.
This may surprise some folks, but I have to say that I am a fan of the Transporter movies. I actually own the first two which is crazy even by my standards. Hey, some times you just want some but kicking action to pass the time. (Crank was pretty awful, though. --- possibly even as bad as the aforementioned Jaws 3D. )
Anyway... I guess it would all depend upon the mood you are in and who you are taking with you.

I'm stuck on this one. Transporter 3 looks pretty cool, (Although I'm a huge Statham fan) but Bolt looks even better. I think I'd go with Bolt.

Skip them both and stay home and watch a Josh Brolin movie (or a few episodes of Young Riders) instead!

Even better advice, Ms. Cali.

Well... this advice won't help J.B. , as I noticed he has a link to his movie review for Transporter 3; however, for anyone else interested....
Go see Bolt!
Now, I have not read J.B.'s review yet for Transporter 3, but I'll give you my take on it. Skip it! Wait for it to come out on dvd so that you can watch the buck-kicking action and fast forward through all the parts w/ the red-headed, heavily-freckled Russian chick.
For those of you who might be thinking I didn't like Transporter 3 because I'm a girl, let me say that I actually own the other 2 on dvd.
The lead female character was so annoying that I didn't care if she lived or died for most of the movie. And I thought maybe the movie would redeem itself and head back into the right direction at one point ....
[glow=red,2,300]SPOILER ALERT[/glow]
... when the annoying chick had the car keys and said she'd give them back to him if he'd only kiss her and that he could spank her or tie her up afterward. Frank's response: You'd like that, wouldn't you.
Now then... in a perfect world... the cut away would have cut back to her tied up and gagged and thrown in the back seat or trunk until he reached the drop-off point. Alas, no. They got together. Which goes to prove that men don't often think clearly when sex is involved or that they'll sleep w/ anyone.
My little sister hated the movie, too. (She's a HUGE fan of the series, btw). She said it was a chic flick. I said it was most definitely NOT a chick flick. (It might have been some guy's warped sense of what a chick flick is or what women would find appealing... but if they were going for romance, they missed the mark completely.)
A series like the Transporter movies --- which you don't really see for the story line --- should stick to the winning formula car chases and fighting scenes. We don't even car that some of the stunts, etc... are unbelievable.
I like my action flicks to be heavy on the action--- hold the contrived romance, please.
