Its not a movie yet (but Lord do I wish and hope) and the TV series is no more. But I did remember there were some Veronica fans on here so I thought I would pass this along. I left a comment, couldn't hurt, right? ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/08/exclusive-veron.htmlAlso, if this is the wrong place to post, let me know!

Crossing fingers, holding breath, hoping that will make it happen.

I would go see a BtVS movie, another Firefly movie, and INDEED a Veronica Mars movie. All the above tv series had interesting characters and great writing. So, if they kept the movie in line with the show's writing, it should be good and worth seeing. I was a fan of Sex and the City and liked the movie. I loved Firefly and Serenity. A Veronica Mars movie could be quite good, especially since I've always thought of that character as a sassy, sarcastic Nancy Drew. And who doesn't like a good sleuthing story?

Mr. C thinks the VM movie should be with her already in the FBI (like the 4th season of the show was supposed to be - if you get the season 3 DVDs, they have the 4th season pilot presentation on it), and she ends up having to go back to Neptune to solve a big case that involves Logan's murder. I am okay with that, as long as they have plenty of Logan flashbacks. But I think having Duncan's body turn up in Neptune would be a better case - where has he been, what was he doing back in Neptune, who killed him, and where is Lily (his daughter)? Plus...Logan can still be alive that way! Yeah!

Oh my goodness! I had read on tv.com that the Pilot was on the DVD, but I had no idea that Logan dies!!! I have the first two seasons, but now you've given me something I need to see. Lets all cross our fingers for me that they still have it at Target.
I guess he wasn't supposed to be the it and final guy for her. Sure Logan was a bad guy a lot of the time, but beating the crap out of Piz? That spells love. And also rushing into things.
The Duncan dying instead would be a good storyline as well. I think I am one of the few that actually liked him. Sure he didn't pine away for her as long as I would have liked and a few say he was "wooden" but he did date Veronica knowing how his parents felt about her. And he was a good guy (I love good guys)! Kidnapping his baby and running off to raise her, giving up being a billionaire’s son?

Oh, no Logan doesn't die in the pilot presentation. That was Mr. C's idea for the movie. The pilot presentation doesn't have anyone from the first 3 seasons except Veronica. It's a whole new cast, and is based on her first day in the FBI. It was really good, but a warning...it's not a whole episode. Which means, they set up this really cool mystery, and then it ends right at the climax! No resolution!!!! It's very frustrating. LOL I hated Duncan. I think it was more that the actor just wasn't very good than the character though.

OH! You really scared me! It would be reasonable, with as much trouble as Logan gets up to.
I went by Target after work and they had it for $18!!! I was so happy you have no idea! I didn't get to watch it until 12, but the first thing I did was watch the pilot.
It was so good. Dang you TV networks for not picking it up. And look at all the shows that lasted just one season last year. Some not even a full one!
I recognized the head FBI guy. He was on those Laura Ingalls Wilder movies they had on CBS a few years ago. And he is on The Shield (never watched it though). Ugh, why did it have to end like that!
