It might be helpful to explain this in detail for the few morans that are on here (like myself). If it is on here already feel free to smack me! Thanks!

Movie studios like to screen their films in certain markets before they are released. Some of the markets (including Memphis) get the screenings just a few days before they are released to generate good press and word of mouth for opening weekend. Where I am (Los Angeles) we usually get the screenings weeks or usually even months ahead of the movie's release, while it is still in the final stages of production; they then give a survey to get audience feedback. The final editing of the film is done after these screenings.
The screenings Johnny talks about here on the site are all for the Memphis area - if you live in the area and want to attend the screening (they are all free, I believe), just follow the instructions Johnny gives for each screening he posts about.
If you aren't in Memphis, but are near a large city, chances are there may be screenings in your area too. You should probably Google to see. All the screenings I've ever been to have been free.
