mr betts mentioned in his teaser concerns about the CGI rendering of the figures. while those look better than the original images we were seeing, they are still a bit more stylized than i would like. BUT, they do blend nicely with the style used on the Cartoon Network Clone Wars series, which I guess was the template that lucasfilm wanted to use. Im hoping that like the animated series, the story carries the day rather than the wiz bang graphics.

Yeah, I'm not big on the style, but I'll still see this. I just hope it's actually good....

My friends went to some autism picnic (their oldest son is high functioning autistic) last weekend, and they had a bunch of Star Wars characters there. Their younger son joined the dark side (he was Darth Vader for halloween). I am so proud of him! I told Mr. C he and their dad can take them to see Clone Wars. That will be fun for them, and I won't have to go! It works out great for everyone!

Can anyone tell me what the heck this is I not really an extreme SW fan, but weren't all 6 movies made by now ? (3 old ones, 3 prequels) ?? And isn't "clone wars" the second movie (2nd prequel) ? Or has someone been secretly giving me doses of LSD ?

the clone wars animated series and this film (and follow up series) are infill story - sort of what all went on between episodes 2 and 3. they serve the same sort of function as the novels do - with the exception of these being considered "cannon", unlike the novels.

Hahahaha!
At least it's a healthier fix than some.
I'm okay with admitting I'll be seeing it -- heck, I'll even be PAID to see it! Great deal!
