Hey, JB, I just wanted to give you a heads up- if anyone from NPR (National Public Radio) ever contacts you, that was from me. I heard a movie review of "Iron Man" on the radio last week, and it wasn't very favorable, and I thought, oh, nuts, my hubby wanted to see that. Well, we went anyways, and as you said (sorry we didn't have internet access to check TMM before we went) it was great!!! So I went on NPR's website to read the review they aired, and sent a comment to them about how awful their critics were (they had two reviews listed). The first guy actually gave away the major plot twist IN his review!!! I'm not all that certain he was really watching the movie either, because he describes Pepper Potts as a "Love-struck" secretary. Ummm... the reason the romantic tension works in their scenes is because she is so sensible about their professional relationship. Yes, they have the attraction, but I would not describe the character as "Love-struck". That evokes images of cartoony, moon-eyed, head-in-the-clouds people. Not Pepper. SO, anyhoo... after my rant I then oh-so-smoothly suggested they check out a REAL movie review and gave the link for TMM. I accept cash, checks and Broadway show tickets. ;D
