OK, so I was bored and started watching my TYR DVD's, starting at the beginning of course. Got to the second episode. Noticed a strange time/space warp. SO- Jimmy and riders are at the bunkhouse, thinking of memories. Jimmy has the nightmare. Wakes up, gets dressed and steals the other guys run. On his way out of town, spooks bad guys horse and bad guy gets muddy. **Jimmy was on his way out with a run. He should have been going some 75 miles that day, correct? Or at the very least to the next station** Then, all the riders are in the general store. Bad guy comes in and asks who was riding the palomino a few hours ago. Jimmy! ** How on earth did Jimmy get back to town? And it IS Sweetwater, Thompkins is there in the background**
I even went to The Doorless Stall (yeah, remember that?) to see if you made any comment about this, JB, but nope. Did I miss something? What's going on?

Well, I could argue that you're just assuming how many miles he was riding (could've been a majorly short trip for some reason). Perhaps he rode just far enough to get the nightmare off his mind and then turned back after he decided he wasn't in the mood for a full run that wasn't even his. But I think it's also important to keep in mind that this is Jimmy we're talking about - the Superman of Pony Express riders.

...Even when he's haunted by a nightmare, Jimmy looks after his fellow man...
What a guy. I think we could all learn a lesson from this selfless act...
