I think I'll upload a few Young Riders clips on YouTube. Some random fans might search for it and there's only 1 short promo right now. Any suggestions of scenes? I have all seasons.

I may have only gotten through "The Kid" But I definitely didn't get past the first disc. And the fact that it bored me to sleep might have been amplified by the fact that I was in bed while watching them...
Ann... if I had to pick one scene for fans to discover - it would definitely be the fence building scene!

I think I'll upload a few Young Riders clips on YouTube. Some random fans might search for it and there's only 1 short promo right now. Any suggestions of scenes? I have all seasons. Without a doubt, there are two scenes that must go on there before all else: 1) The "Sorry, but apologizin' is something I only do on Sundays. Today's Tuesday," scene from "Gunfighter." 2) The scene from "Ten-Cent Hero" where Jimmy first confronts J.D. Marcus and tells him, "Real heroes learn by doin', not readin'." Those are the type of scenes to sell to true Western fans (and to disaply the awesomeness that is Josh Brolin).

And the fact that it bored me to sleep might have been amplified by the fact that I was in bed while watching them... Ann... if I had to pick one scene for fans to discover - it would definitely be the fence building scene! You might want to qualify that statement by clarifying that would be a scene for FEMALE fans to discover. The Tombstone/Clint Eastwood crowd would most likely not be won over. Man, how could you fall asleep during "The Kid"?? It actually has Kid's best scene ever! Plus, the introduction scene to each of the characters is classic. Teaspoon: You're wearin' that Colt a mite low ain't ya? Jimmy: Feels about right. Teaspoon: Got a hair trigger? Jimmy: Yep. Teaspoon: What's your name? Jimmy: Jimmy. *smirks* Teaspoon: Your whole name. Jimmy: Hickok. James ... Butler ... Hickok. Teaspoon: Well get this Mr. Hickok, I don't like no hair trigger around me. You're here for ridin', not for gunfightin', but if it's trouble you want, you'll get a belly full. Yeah, I've got this stuff memorized. You got a problem with it?

Oooh... I'd have quite a few suggestions for good scenes to expose to the world...
The entire episode of "Bulldog" is fair game as far as I'm concerned. Every scene Jimmy is in is classic. ...Well, maybe not the part where he cries...
...But when Ambrose delivers his heartfelt speech to Jimmy (to the giggles of his bunkmates), it's pure gold. ;D It even includes an "accidental" elbow to the Kid's noggin! Bonus. Worth a slo-mo.
I also, as a girl, love the scene in "Speak No Evil" where the boys are helping Emma get a wheel back on the buckboard, and the pretty lady rides by. Their reactions are muy entertaining...
...And the "Ain't love grand" scene (and the one following it) from "Blind Love" are excellent, too. Cody quips, and Jimmy gives it to the Kid real good about love. Good times.
...And what about the (paraphrasing) "Oh, golly - that's just what I'd expect to hear from you, Kid" line in "Fall From Grace"?
I know that I could name about a hundred more, but I don't have the time. (Lucky you!)
Nice quote, JB. I must agree that that's a great scene. I had actually forgotten how good the pilot was until I saw it again. They all had their characters down, even that early on - especially Brolin. He truly was born to play Hickok.

...And what about the (paraphrasing) "Oh, golly - that's just what I'd expect to hear from you, Kid" line in "Fall From Grace"? Oh man, one of the funniest moments of the entire series, greatly accentuated by Jimmy doing the fist/arm move that you'd expect somebody saying "oh golly" to do. Hilarious. I also concur with the Bulldog speech scene. Brolin perfectly sells Jimmy's discomfort while the bunkmates have a good laugh at his expense.

Excellent job, AA! Keep up the good work. I look forward to more entries. Sure, I have the 1st season DVD set and seasons 2 and 3 on tape, but there's something cool about having the individual scenes available by themselves.
