Go to www.imdb.com and do a search for "Ty Miller". Laugh your head off at the picture. Repeat as necessary. (even the most loyal kidette draws a line somewhere...I want to know what role this picture was for!)

I knew that hair would eventually creep upwards. Maybe it was an outtake from the werewolf X-Files episode he was in but it was more likely to be from:
21. "Valerie" playing "Eric" in episode: "Wooly Bully" (episode # 2.13) 18 January 1987
Would you believe that I actually didn't find that pic unattractive? Is he still appearing in Without a Trace. When are they going to give his character an episode?

I find the picture histerical (not totally unattractive, but more out of control). From the title of the Valerie episode, that would definitely make sense:) Okay, funny Without a Trace story - Mr. Cali had a dream a few months ago that he and I were at breakfast somewhere and in the booth right behind us were Ty Miller and the producers of Without a Trace. They were arguing about Ty's role (or something) and he was all "You wouldn't even give my character a name!". So Mr. C, feeling bad, got up and went over to the table and was all "Hey! You're Ty Miller! My girlfriend LOVES you! Dude, you're awesome in Without a Trace! I wish they would give you a bigger role!" Yeah, Mr. C. had weird dreams sometimes. Anyway, there is now a new computer tech, to whom they have given a name! It looks like Ty isn't going to be on anymore.

Y'all will be happy to know that I used Ty's new beard as motivation for the latest Movie Mark Original! Plus, I figured it was high time for a bit of a tribute to The Young Riders.

I just read the new Original, and I must admit, I laughed out loud! Your best one yet, JB! Heh...The Young Spiders. I'm still laughing (I am easily entertained sometimes...;-P)

Web of deceit. ;D
I will not have you besmirch the reputation of my convict great-great-great-great-great grandfather.

Can Ann's convict great-great-great-great-great grandfather be played by Guy Pearce? 'Cause I would DEFINITELY watch that movie.
Don't worry Ann, I'm sure he changed his convict ways and didn't REALLY plant the spiders - he was framed by another convict played convincingly by Heath Ledger.

Heath Ledger and Guy Pearce? What kind of budget do y'all think I'm working with? I'm sure a couple of free dinners should ensure Ty's participation, but Ledger and Pearce may be a bit harder to get.

I was thinking of a spin-off.
Come on, it's a reference to The Young Riders - I'm sure Ann will get behind me in that there must be a homosexual spinoff of some sort!

Ooooh, I love this board where everyone gets our (really) obsure references. I just can't stop chuckling at, "The Young Spiders." Johnny, you're too generous. Ty would have to buy you a few lunches for the role. ;D Maybe you could hire Peter Phelps instead (aka The Kangaroo Kid from "The Exchange"). He's chubbed up a bit Val Kilmer style but he looks much hotter than he used to. He's actually still an employed and somewhat successful TV actor in Australia. Then again, Guy Pearce is the one who could really use a few meals (more below). Why on earth would there be a need to make a homosexual spinoff? Could the Buck/Ike (Bike) homoeroticism get much more blatent? Jimmy and Kid arguing over Lou? I don't think so! Beavis and Butthead moment: Rhi, you said, "get behind" hehehehehehehehehehehehe Speaking of Guy Pearce. He's in an (apparently) kick- arse Australian western at the moment called, "The Proposition." Look at the picture of his entry on the IMDb www.imdb.com/name/nm0001602/ Either he's in training to play Skeletor in a live action remake of "He-Man" or he's in big trouble. What's happened to him? I don't think he plays a gay cowboy in "The Proposition" but it still might be worth checking out. I want to see it but I'm also thinking of seeing this "Wolf Creek" movie to see what the fuss is about. Of course, I'll probably end up going alone and sitting next to the comic book guy (who will take me into the outback and murder me after the screening). My friends are more likely to want to see, "Must Love Dogs." Alas, most of my friends are happily married (oxymoron).

AustralianAnn re: Peter Phelps. I was at my friend's place in St Kilda the other week and found an old bit of junk mail under the couch - a How-To-Vote card for the local council elections featuring Phelpsy (as second choice, behind the filmmaker/Aboriginal activist Richard Franklin). Can't imagine what his platform would have been - 'Weekdays are for solving crime, weekends are for surfing?' Guylian
