This week (June 3-11) is International TYR Week (yes, I know it's really more than a week...there is a special reason for that).
Anyway, head on over to the AYRF message board to help us celebrate...http://ayrf.proboards32.com/index.cgi
We'll have a cool challenge for each day and anything else we feel like doing (depends on how much time I have online at work/home during the week to post challenges, fun stuff, etc.)

I never knew there was a TYR forum!!!!!! No one ever told me!!!! Wow cool. Now I have another new website to pull my attention away from work. I can't wait to read all the stuff there. Do you know who started it?

There are several, but this is the only one I visit regularly (okay, pretty much ever anymore). Starbright & Gail started it as a partner to the AYRF fan fic awards site, but it's pretty much stopped being about the awards and is just a cool general board to hang out on...you definitely have to start visiting:) And posting some fan fic!!! The round robin is fun, since you don't have to do an entire story (and also, it's fun working with the crazy twists people throw in...I always try to throw out something to pull the story in a new direction).

So, tomorrow is the final day of International TYR Week. It's also Kid day.
Will Johnny Betts rise to the challenge I am going to throw out at him? We'll have to wait and see. (Oh, and go to the AYRF forum).

It's a very nice site. As you probably saw Ms.CAli, I've posted a few things there. And to let anyone else know who may be interested, I DID post the first few chapters of my TYR Fan Fic there. The next installment might even be coming this week! (after I send it to Ms.Cali to proofread!) (I'll try to remember ot get online tonight and do that!) ayrf.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=msang

As usual, I missed out on TYR week (which is all the more interesting seeing as how now I'm into Andromeda, and one of my favorite characters there is Tyr, but I digress) So next year, Aimee, I need you to come to NC and slap me into gear to actually do something for the celebration. I do believe that at some point during that week I had a drink with Little Jen, but I highly doubt we even discussed TYR

I just made it by the skin of my teeth. Got myself registered on that ATYRF site and so forth.
I really wish I could get my story to... I dunno... finish itself so I could just do my job and feel satisfied that my TYR-emotional balance was in harmony.
Did that make sense to anyone else? And can I get me some Beta reader volunteers? I want people who are really interested in it for the long term (because the story really is that long and getting even longer).
