The Grizzlies are playing like they did last year. I went to the Grizzlies game last night against the Suns. I thought that we were gonna lose because some of are best players were out. Well they proved me wrong. The Grizzlies came out like they were on a mission to show that they could win without some of their best players. Steve Nash got ejected because he thought his layup, that was BLOCKED by Swift , was goaltending. If the Grizzlies keep playing like that they could beat anybody. FINAL SCORE: Grizzlies 108 Suns 97.

Hopefully, we get Pau back before the playoffs. He is a big part of this team. I looked on the internet to see how bad his injury is and it did not look good. It could take 6 months to a year for him to get better. He might even need surgery. He is going to have it X-rayed tomorrow to see how it is. Hopefully, it's healing by itself so he can return to action.

The Grizzlies are back in the playoffs this year. They play Phoenix in the first round. They have a good chance of moving to the next round. What do you think Johnny?

You're a little more optimistic than I am. I think they may be able to win one or two, but I'll be shocked if they win the series. They just don't have the superstar to get them to the next level. Plus, they've been playing pretty bad lately.

We got sweeped 4-0. Our best shot at winning a game was game 2. The Pistons and Spurs are in the finals. I hope the Pistons win. My prediction is that they win in seven games. How bout you Johnny?

Hey Johnny, what do you think about the trade for Eddie Jones?

Hey Johnny, what do you think about the trade for Eddie Jones? We trade 29-year-old Jason Williams, 28-year-old James Posey, and 22-year-old Andre Emmett and all we get is a 33-year-old guy who's nearing the end of his career and will get $15 million per year for the next two years? My first reaction is - what is Jerry West smoking? We just got rid of two starters. Sure, Eddie Jones will be pretty solid, but he's not in his prime anymore. Assuming we sign Damon Stoudamire then we're pretty much as good as we were last year. Sure, you replace a couple of guy's with bad attitudes with guys who are more likely to listen to the coach, but as a team I don't think we're any better. Maybe West has something up his sleeve and this is just part of something bigger. I'll wait and see what happens, but we HAVE to get a center or a big time rebounder, and if that doesn't happen then we might as well prepare ourselves to be content on losing in the first round of the playoffs yet again. If we somehow land Jamal MaGloire and still manage to hold on to Shane Battier, *then* I'll feel somewhat optimistic.

JB...your Grizzlies pulled out a stunning last second squeaker against my Jazz last night. Way to end our winning streak, man...

JB...your Grizzlies pulled out a stunning last second squeaker against my Jazz last night. Way to end our winning streak, man... I'm not sure how, considering y'all are one of the only teams the Grizzlies have beaten this year. Somebody didn't get the memo that this season is about losing as many games as possible to help their chances in the draft. That's all right though. All my focus is on the Memphis Tigers and what should amount to another nice run in the NCAA tournament!
