If the Red Soxs did it so can the Cardinals. I hope it happens but it doesn't look like it will. The Cardinals need to go out and get a big game pitcher like Randy Johnson or even Pedro. Their picthing is the only weakness. Even if they lose they'll be back next year. Hopefully with a good pitcher.

There's something fishy going on! Bud Selig wants the Red Sox to win and you can tell by the way the Yanks and Cards played. PSSSh. I hate Boston.

This is ridiculous! Even Tony LaRussa knows something is up! He just went out to argue with the umpires saying they are giving the Boston pitchers low strikes that they aren't giving the Cardinals pitchers! What's up with that, Mr.Selig?

Boston deserved to win. The Yankess and Cardinals played like crap. The star players for both teams didn't show up to play when it counted. Scott Rolen was hitless in the World Series. In the offseason both teams need to go get a good pitcher. I hope the Cardinals get Randy Johnson. He was supposed to go to either the Cardinals or Yankees before the trade dead line passed. He said he wanted to stay in Arizona. He could have really helped the Cardinals. The Cardinals will be back next year. Cardinals and Yankees 2005 World Series ;D. How do you like that Johnny?

It is a sad, sad day here in Missouri... I think everyone is avoiding the subject. I haven't heard anyone talk about it.

Cardinals and Yankees 2005 World Series ;D. How do you like that Johnny? Works for me. The Yankees need to get a picture in the offseason. I heard that they might be going after Pedro Martinez. Man, I hope not. I can't stand the guy. They need somebody like Curt Schilling. That guy is a warrior. Major League Baseball needs more players like him.

Whats up with your Yankees Johnny? They're playing like overpaid underachievers. Hopefully that'll change.

Hey Johnny do you think the Yankees should trade some of their players like Giambi or Williams?

Hey Johnny do you think the Yankees should trade some of their players like Giambi or Williams? Well, Williams is so old that I don't think they can get much from him. Besides, even though he's having a down year, he's still a team leader and has been with the Yankees his entire career (since '91). He's one of those guys who should retire with the team. As for Giambi, I certainly wouldn't mind unloading him and his huge salary. Unfortunately, they'll probably only be able to get a couple of minor leaguers for him.

That's what I said about Mark Grace (my favorite player)...then the Cubs refused to resign his contract, he went to the Diamondbacks, won the world series that year, played for a couple more years and then retired. So I guess it worked out for him, but I'm still mad at the Cubs over it.

Giambi is lighting it up at the plate. Do you still think they should trade him now? Hey Johnny, what do you think about the Cubs Derrek Lee?

Maybe he's finally over his injuries. As for Derek Lee, I think he's definitely the N.L. MVP, and it'll be very interesting to watch him compete for the Triple Crown. Because of that, he's THE player to watch the rest of the season.
