So... anyone heard if any of these are mildly good???
They still doing the same as last year and charging for individual movies?? (That seems rather un "Festival"-like to me)
Anyway... I do like the occasional horror movie, but can't imagine paying big screen money for something these days unless I know it was going to truly deliver the goods in the "thrills & chills" department.
Usually I end up w/ more "moans & groans" these days when I cough up money to see a so-called scary movie in the theater.

So... anyone heard if any of these are mildly good??? The Sci Fi Channel recently showed the movies from the first Horrorfest, and they were pretty bad. I ended up fast-forwarding through most of them once sheer boredom struck. I wouldn't anticipate these being much better. They still doing the same as last year and charging for individual movies?? (That seems rather un "Festival"-like to me) I do believe it's still the same lame format. "Let's charge individual, regular ticket prices for eight really crappy movies that would otherwise be direct-to-DVD!" Save your money. (Oh, and TG - I received your emails and will reply tonight or tomorrow).

Yeah... it's difficult to find a good horror flick/scary movie these days. I did like 30 Days of Night. I started to write a review of it since I didn't see one on here, but my heart wasn't in it. Then the battery on my laptop saved everyone from my lame attempt. smile. As for the email responses... no worries and no hurry. I should learn to walk away from the computer when I can't sleep. I lose all perspective... I liken it to "drunk dialing". Friends Don't Let Friends.... anyhoo... I look forward to your replies all the same.
