You've got to be joking. They're making a Justice League movie? Just kill me now.

Mr. C will be so excited.
I think there's promise here. Hopefully it will feel more like Batman Begins & Superman Returns than Spiderman 3 or Ghostrider (or even Fantastic 4 2 which I liked, but was too lighthearted and silly for a Justice League movie).

The potential is there, but unfortunately they don't seem to be intent on asking Christian Bale to be Batman. I saw an interview with Bale where he said he hasn't been asked to do it, but he may be open to the idea.
I'm afraid that's where they're gonna screw up.

Um... "Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid".... I'm not saying it would blow chunks... because if the script is good and the right people are cast, then maybe... but I'm not so sure about this. I did click on the hyperlink and read the article. Made me think about he Wonder Woman movie that was supposed to be in the works... so then I had to check imdb for that.... looks like Joss pulled out, so now my hopes are dashed for that as well. Too bad... he's really good at the "girl power" thing.

This has the potential to go both ways.
If it goes well it will probably be the best comic book movie ever made.
But if it "blows chunks" (I'm sorry I just love that) it will probably blow the biggest chunks you have ever seen, because chances are they will not just butcher one or two heroes.
They will slaughter them all. But hey that is IF things go bad.

i just dont know how you can make one movie with all those characters involved and just not have it be a mess.
superman, batman, green lantern, wonder woman, green arrow, flash, aquaman. there are only so many minutes in a movie and ony so many folks know the characters past superman and batman.

With that many characters that'd have to go the X-Men route.
Here's a tidbit of promising info (at least in my eyes):
I just read that Jessica Biel may be added to the cast as Wonder Woman. Considering this gal has the best body in Hollywood (you can bounce a quarter off that butt and get EXACT change, plus a receipt), I can certainly buy that.

Wow -- JB -- that's just disgusting.
Back to the point -- this has a 99.99999999% chance of SUCKING. I'm not holding out for the .00000001% chance of it being good.

Nothing disgusting in admiring the fruits of a young woman's hard work, FM, nothing disgusting at all. I guess I'm just the type of kind-hearted person who hates to see a person's efforts be in vain.

possibly go with casting from Smallville?
you've already got a identifiable group of characters that fans are familiar with, many of which are already in the league (superman, green arrow, flash, martian manhunter, aquaman).
throw in a new actor for batman and wonder woman and proceed. they use alternate universes in the comics, why cant this franchise stand a bit apart from the superman and batman series?
