I went opening weekend to see Spiderman 3. I knew to expect a crowd, so I showed up an hour and a half ahead of time. Got my seat, and sat back sipping my soda and listening to the music that was playing. 10 minutes before showtime, the theatre had filled up pretty nicely, but there were still plenty of seats left. At that time, nature had called. Now I picked this seat for it's comfort and location poximity to the screen and loudest speaker. I went to the restroom, leaving my drink and popcorn there so people would know it's occupied. on the way back to the seat, a guy was anxiously waiting to get to a seat. It turned out to be my seat he was going for, so he knocked me down trying to get to it. Luckily i had my uncle with me and he turned down the idiotic douchebag away and to another section of the theatre. Who would knock down an innocent guy to get to a seat that was obviously taken?
