Here's another I just remembered: I once was on a plane with Sinbad. The whole flight I kept praying that we wouldn't crash, 'cause I didn't want to die with Sinbad.

Let's see...
Saw a few tapings in LA, including "Viva Variety" - starring "The State" and "Reno: 911" alumni, Tom Lennon, Kerri Kenney, Ben Garant, and Michael Ian Black. The warm-up guy asked who had heard of "The State", and amongst the sounds of crickets all around me, I cheered. When Ben Garant came out to greet the crowd, warm-up guy said he had fans and pointed to me. I got a little "thank you" salute from Garant. Then, during the musical guest's performance, Lennon sat on the riser right next to my seat. I was too shy to say anything, but inside, I was as giddy as a schoolgirl. Then, my sis and I made Black almost laugh during a scene... And I was partially seen on camera! Good times.
I saw Michael McKean at a mall in Santa Monica on that trip, too. That's right - David St. Hubbins. Oh yeah.
In Chicago, I saw "The Producers" in previews, and witnessed a miniscule Sarah Jessica Parker being ushered into the theater once the lights had dimmed. Then, I stayed at the hotel where they were all staying and had dinner a few feet from Broderick, Parker and most of the cast. No Lane, although I heard that he had been reveling with people in the bar the night before.
At restaurants in Phoenix, I've seen Brandy (yeah, yeah - big whoop...) and 20/20's Hugh Downs recently. And I've met a few comedians when they've been at the Improv, too, including the late Mitch Hedberg.
I'm hoping to someday add a Young Rider or two to my list, seeing as they've all got ranches down here... Although, all I'd have to do to meet Ty Miller is order from Domino's, right JB? **thank you, thank you**

Duh! I forgot one - I went to the same high school as David Koepp, screenwriter of Jurassic Park, Spider-man, Panic Room... and my personal favorite, Toy Soldiers!!
Look for him in The Lost World: Jurassic Park - he's the guy who gets smashed into the window of a Blockbuster during the LA T-Rex rampage. (At the end, he's credited as "Unlucky B*st*rd". Ha ha.)

When my mum was about 17, she was a nanny for Ted Kotcheff....director of WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S and RAMBO: First Blood.
According to IMDb, he's also the exec producer of L&O: SVU but that's not lame enough somehow, I can outlame it.
I know someone who ran a tattoo parlour with 'Rick' from Degrassi Jr High.

I've got a couple - my life is just that exciting... 1. This one is kind of long. When I was in college I babysat for this family and the dad was a pro baseball player. Well, one day I was there by myself and the phone rang so naturally I answered it. Follows is what the conversation went like. Me: Hello Caller: Hi is Joe in? Me: No, he's not in right now. Is there a message I can give him? Caller: Can you tell him Barry called. Me: Sure Barry, is there a last name? Barry: Yeah, Bonds. Me: Okay. And what number can he call you back on? Barry: 123456789. Me: I'll make sure he gets the message. Have a nice day. Barry: Bye. Click. I had no idea who I talked to until my father asked me if any ball players ever called and I told him that I thought one day some guy named Barry called. He let me know (right after he laughed in my face) that I spoken with someone important. My husband thinks this story is hilarious.
2. When I was in high school I lived in the Orlando area. My 9th grade drama class went on a field trip to a taping of The New Mickey Mouse Club. We were there for a filming of a music video. I have no idea who was singing; if I could remember that could make this an even more lame claim to fame.
3. It was rumored that Delta Burke's mother lived in my neighborhood growing up. I'm not sure if that's true or not.
4. I went to high school with some dude is now a pro football player - I even think he won the Superbowl one year. We were in speech class together. I think his name is Trevor Price.
I have one more but I don't want to show off just how lame I can be....

I have one more but I don't want to show off just how lame I can be.... Aw, come on, tell us! Who was the baseball player than you babysat for? Joe...?? Last night I happened to think of another lame claim of mine, but I've already forgotten it. I guess that serves as a nice little exclamation point to its lameness. I'll try to think of it and will report back soon. Bait that breath...

More lame claims to fame:
Ex-Redskin Trevor Maddich was a guest at my wedding reception.
Matt Dallas from Kyle XY called me on my cellphone to say thanks for helping him out with the show and his website and we ended up talking for like, half an hour. Nice guy. I've already emailed him about themoviemark, so hey, more publicity for you in L.A. =)
My podcast co-host is a radio DJ in FL whose boss knows Jessica Simpson...six degrees much..
At my former job, we'd get the occasional celebrity passport. That was always fun. The last one I remember doing was Jack Black (not his real name) but we had our share. (Ricky Martin, Gabriela Rosselini, Mario Andretti, Liv Tyler's husband) and our company got a special thank you in the credits of 'Bourne Supremacy'.
Oh, and Alex Trebek called our office and I spoke briefly to him....
Those are it until I remember more...

Okay, Beth, Alex Trebek does not belong on a lame claims to fame list! He is just famous! Leave the lame out of it!
I would go on Jeopardy over Who Wants to be a Millionaire anyday! LOL:)

While walking downtown yesterday, I was accosted by a homeless guy asking for money. But it might have just been Scott Baio.

Apparently, my brother-in-law's band is big in Japan. My brother-in-law hasn't been in a band since the 80s, but his old band mate started a record label and has decided to release some of their old stuff. Now, all the girls in Japan love his 80s Jersey Mulleted self.
And they are making a music video. If he becomes rich and famous, I fully expect him to share in the profits! LOL.

How lame are these?
My dad built a house for Burt Reynolds. (A real a-hole according to my dad.)
I met Jullianne Moore at a mall. Remember in Hannibal when he was leading her through the train station, and they ended up at that Merry Go Round? That was filmed in a mall. I was at that mall. My mom and sister used me as a pack mule, and I was loaded down with stuff. They didn't even notice that I was overloaded, and I fell. She helped me pick up all the bags. (I know, lame!)
A lot of famous people vacation in a mountian town above my hometown (Same place Burt's house is.), and they come down to get their supplies. (My uncle claims he bagged Delta Burke's groceries while he was working at a supermarket)

OMG, I don't remember if I ever told this story (and I'm too lazy to look at all the old posts in this thread to see), but it's funny enough to repeat if I did. LOL
When Mr. C had just moved out to LA, he saw Ros from Night Court in Target. She was with a friend, and as they were leaving, the friend got stopped for Shoplifting.
Hmm...my old roommate once saw Jane Seymour at a grocery store arguing with the clerk over a coupon. Dr. Quinn had to save her $.50!
