I know I'm a girl and chic flicks should be my thing and they are... I like the Princess Diaries movies and things like Ella Enchanted and the new disney Enchanted... but my personal guilty pleasure is.... Step Up. I've seen it probably 6 times now. I love the dancing. I know the story and acting sucks but I can't stop watching the people dance!!! I also like little kid cheesy movies, like the American Girl movies and just today I saw an episode of "Saddle Club"- who knew they turned it into a TV show?? I loved those books when I was a kid.

Confession time. I love romantic comedies and musicals in adition to horror movies. For the romantic comedies, I cry every time Richard Gere climbs up the fire escape and "rescues" Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

JOHNNY SUEDE It came out in the early 90's and starts Brad Pitt. It came out before Cool World but after Thelma and Louise. Brad Pitt is awesome as a quasi Elvis singer who falls in love with the wrong woman. Dude has the suede shows, and the hair is ridiculous. They must have tore a hole in the ozone layer just so that they could keep Brad Pitts hair up. The best part is my favorite actor makes a cameo SAM JACKSON. Movies Awesome and I think they just rereleased it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpdJgVKE9s0

I am a chick-flick lover but I also love horror movies, Mel Brooks movies, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Spinal Tap and anything by Christopher Guest, and Kevin Smith movies.
Oh. I also liked Over the Top. LOL.

Just read this thread...finally. And I loved Tommy Boy and Black Sheep - so you can up that count to 3 girls who have admitted it. Also liked True Lies, T1 & T2 (although Robert Patrick's role as T-1000 really creeped me out when he'd "come back to life" after being a puddle - ugh!) I'm somewhat of an Arnold fan. And I know we're talking movies here, but as for a typical "guy" TV show I loved watching the Three Stooges! I'd still watch them if I could find them on the tube...alas, I'm too cheap to buy some episodes on DVD.

Oh, my gosh... I watched Mannequin SOOO many times when I was little. My parents taped it... I don't even know how... but I probably watched it once a month for a good few years. I love the theme song/credits song that went with the movie... "Nothin's gonna stop us now..."

I also have to say, that while inferior, the sequel has a little bit of a cheesy charm. I do love that theme song. I always start my day by listening to it.

My Boyfriends Back. I watched it all the time when I was little, and I got it a few weeks ago on Netflix. Man, I had no idea how bad it was! And I get a lot of the jokes that I wouldn't have gotten all those years ago.
