I like it. I'm not hooked or grabbed, but out of love of the origional tv series I am going to give it some real chances.
Anybody else see this? Thoughts?

I was really considering giving it a try, but at the last second I decided not to. It looked decent enough, but I didn't want to risk investing my time only to lose interest halfway through the season.

Liked it better than I thought I would...not sure it'll keep my interest the whole season, though.
Do you think the actress has enough appeal to carry a show, being she is an unknown? Will we stay interested enough to care what happens to her?
Is that mean? Pam

I don't think it matters whether is is unknown or not. I think she's good, but it's more the stories that keep me.

The season premiere is online, so I'll give it a watch and see what I think.

I like the actress... she was in Jekyll... I watched clips of it on line and was worried. I've been out of town for a week and missed both the season opener and tonight's show. I think I dvr'd them though.
I wanted to give the show a try first before passing judgment... your positive reviews have given me hope.
Maybe I'll get up early before school tomorrow and try to watch one of them.

we watched the second episode last night (and by "we" I mean Mr. C and I, and by "watched" I mean he watched and I happened to be in the same room knitting while it was on). The sister is now played by a different actress and no longer deaf. It's a miracle!!!

I like it -- but I am not addicted to it. This is not House or Prison Break.
The sister/different actress/not deaf? MsCali, huh?

The pilot we got, the sister was a completely different actress and the character was deaf. Was she not in the pilot that aired (I didn't watch it)? I hadn't heard anything about them recasting/refilming the pilot, but maybe they did.

Okay, now I understand what you are typing about.
Nope. The pilot you saw was not the one that aired. The sister you saw in the second episode was the same actress/character that was in the pilot.

That second episode was just as awesome as the first! I hope this one doesn't go the way of Surface or any of the other awesome shows that were cancelled not soon after they premered.

Yes... I had actually read that they had recast/re-shot the pilot. Originally the sister was to be deaf... but they changed it and now she's a computer hacker.
I am about to watch the second episode now since I got home late and must be up and at my church in 4 hours for community service. I have laundry that must be done before that... so... I'm not sleeping. Yeah!!!
I thought the first episode was "okay" at best... it felt choppy to me... but perhaps it is because some of it was re-shot, etc.. My sister said the second one was better.
Tell you what I think tomorrow.

Addition: Yep... the second episode was better and a bit easier to follow. I'll give this show a few more tries before I commit one way or the other.

Well, hope you had fun at the community service, got all your laundry done, and then got some sleep.
Yeah, I think this is good too.

I just watched the first two episodes, and I'm not completely sold. It's OK, but I'm not hooked.
I like the blonde bionic chick (Katee Sackhoff - the Brittany Murphy lookalike from Battlestar Galactica) more than I do Michelle Ryan as Jaime Sommers. She's all right, but she seems too soft and cute for the role. Maybe she'll grow into it.
The previews for tonight's episode look better though, so I'll stick with it a bit longer.
