If we are talking TV shows here - Seinfeld, Friends and That 70's Show have me. Movies - So many are worth viewing over and over again. A Mighty Wind just gets funnier the more times you see it. It's a Christopher Guest movie and I find that not many people have heard of it. You are missing out if you haven't seen it (any of his movies for that matter). I have to join the That Thing You Do bandwagon. I can't help it. I love that movie. Princess Bride is also worth viewing over and over - in fact it's a great sick day flick. I agree with Tommy Boy and Black Sheep and old Adam Sandler movies like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison. Now - please don't think ill of me but if You've Got Mail is on (and it has been lately) I just have to stop and watch even though it's half over. And again - please don't judge - but if a teeny bopper movie like one with Hilary Duff is on - I'm also hooked. Now - to my defense - Tombstone is one of the best westerns out there (and by far better than the Kevin Costner Wyatt Earp movie). Oh yeah -- and every year even though I own the DVDs I have to watch A Christmas Story and White Christmas.

I can't agree with you about You've Got Mail (can't stand either of the stars), but I will agree with the tenny bopper movies! I haven's seen A Mighty Wind yet (it's on the list, but the list is loooooooong and I rent movies maybe 3 times a year), but I love Best in Show.

Christopher Guest movies are always worthwhile. He's doing a new one, and while not a mockumentary (he's bored with that format, unfortunatley), it has much of his usual troupe of actors. I think it's going to be called For You Consideration.

You're right LH - it comes out next month. Even though he switched the format it should still be good - with his group of actors I don't think he can go wrong. The only Guest movie I haven't seen all the way through is "This is Spinal Tap" - the one that started it all! Did you know that the Folksmen Trio opened for Spinal Tap at a concert and got booed off the stage? Funny stuff.

Yeah, the Folksmen appeared on SNL way back in the early 80's when Guest was a cast member. I heard that it was at a show in Boston where they got booed off as the Folksmen and brought the house down thirty minutes later as Spinal Tap.
This is Spinal Tap is still the best of the genre. You really need to see it.

Word on The Chris Guest movies. I'm glad that someone else liked A Mighty Wind! "Hey - wha' happened???" ;D
And I appreciated the music in it so much - it's completely legit. I want the Folksmen to do a world tour! And Mitch & Mickey were so cute on the Oscars!
Speaking of which... I look forward to For Your Consideration, too. With the usual suspects involved, it should be great - even if the format is different. (Did y'all notice that I got chewed out by someone on another thread for merely implying that it might be a mockumentary like the rest? Geez! So-rry! )
As for TV, now that Scrubs is syndicated, I'm a happy camper. Other than that, Seinfeld, Friends, and King of Queens reruns are my favorites.

The hubby and I liked the music so much from "A Mighty Wind" that we bought the soundtrack. My two year old likes the Old Joe's Place song.
Isn't it funny how one can find a Seinfeld and a Friends reference for just about any situation? "Can you spare a square?"

I saw that. It was by somebody calling himself "clevername." If you'll notice, that's the only post he's ever made. That's right, NBJ, I "took care of the problem." Let this be a lesson to anybody who wants to mess with my most loyal fans.

Wow - are you serious?!? Thanks, JB! ;D I like that you have the power to end someone's Message Board career. Virtual Size 11s to the rescue?!?

Just about any teen movie from the 80s. I love them all! I wish they would release The Legend of Billie Jean on dvd.

Well, since I bought the movie "Enchanted" all I've done is watch it over and over... I have all the songs stuck in my head constantly...

I almost bought it today at the grocery store. I am "working" at home today (I was working earlier, but I just don't have a lot to do today), so I planned on watching Enchanted for the rest of the day while I worked. It was a great deal! $14.99!
Until I picked it up and realized that someone had just set it in the wrong spot, and it was not $14.99 after all. I'll probably pick it up this weekend anyway though.
