umm... yeah...what he said. ***** Also... it's quite helpful to read old reviews and old posts when you are battling insomnia. Let's not forget the most important gift... the spreading of love for "the other J.B." *BTW--- I thought the AMC Shootout clips of the interview w/ Josh Brolin were interesting. (originally I had a French slang word for suck up/ teacher's pet up above... but it looked too closely to a not-so-nice English word, so I 86'd it. Trantee, I'll have to butcher a foreign language while trying to tease you on some other day ;D)

(A suck up is someone who wants something in return .. I, on the other hand, expect nothing and am doing this out of free will *insert maniacally evilish laugh*)

I'm feeling quite thankful these days, and it's not just because I'm heading out of town to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends today. Although, that does help.
I am quite thankful for this small, but tight-knit community we've got here. Y'all are the best.
Just wanted to share that.

*sniff sniff* I love you guys!
Thanks, Trantee. I've been feeling a little burned out lately - keeping way too busy and stilling trying to fit the site into the schedule isn't always easy. The encouragement always does a good job of refueling me.
Everybody have a great Thanksgiving. For those of you non-Americans who don't celebrate Thanksgiving, well, eat a lot of food and give a toast to my country's obesity (me being an exception, of course).

Trantee.... you play the didjeridoo???!!! That's cool.
J.B. --- did you know that the average American consumes 5000 calories on Thanksgiving???
This may be the first time in my life that I am striving to be Below Average!!! ;D
Oh and again... in all seriousness.... this is a cool bunch of folks. And that's why I frequent this site, not because my (cough) lack of (cough) social life.

Yes, Tangent .. been playing 6 years now .. I also play a bit of Udu, Djembe, learned some throatsinging or overtone singing. and I'm planning on making a Hang Drum (named Tank Drum) for myself VERY soon. and I'm making arrangements to learn the harmonica (or (mouth)harp or whatever) in Jan 2008 and later on, I'm planning on learning (and buying or making) a Fujara (a flute that gives me the chills) and later on the bagpipe.. only "time" is always the problem because besides that, I'm also making a CD with a friend (ambient, sound scape music) and doing (relaxation) concerts with other friends .. *gasps for free-time * -- so that was today's lesson on "personal info about Trantee" .. This post must and will be deleted in 5 days But enough about me .. this thread was for almighty J.B.

Well then... a toast to JB: To his keen insight, his impeccable taste, his sometimes biting witticism, his humility & humble nature, his flair and appreciation for sarcasm, his 'lean abs', his 'size 11 biker boots' and his ability to use them to mete out justice and stomp out stupidity as he sees fit, his nice smile that we don't see enough of, to his love of sports and family, to his open mind (Hey, he gave Veronica Mars a try upon suggestion & perhaps a bit of prodding), his straight-forward, tell-it-like-it-is nature, and for his integrity and honor. (He returned my dvds to me. So he's Aces in my book!) , and to his.... (You fill in the rest.) To an all around stand-up guy. btw--- *I like bagpipes. (Five days from now that comment is going to seem extremely random.)

After spending WAY too much time and energy debating close-minded imbeciles on another well-known movie site, I had to come back here as a safe haven. I thought back to Trantee's earlier words and thought never have truer words been spoken. *(I think JB mentioned once that the IQ's are a tad higher on this site as well. It would appear that he is correct, as usual ) Seriously, folks... it was soooo scary over there. {{ shivers}} Somebody hold me.In all seriousness, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this little community.

Johnny, I just signed on here last night whilst reading the Rider Review on your other site. I have never laughed so hard...and then went to work today still giggling. My co-workers thought I was nuts. Thanks for all your hard work, and amazing humor!!
